In Qualifying of the first round of the Pro Tour Championship in East London (South Africa) the SPS - Bigfoot Racing pilots Lance-David Arnold and Sun Moodley reached positions 2 and 8.
With a laptime of 1.21.568 Arnold reached first place in his class and second overall, only beaten by Toby Venter, driving an 800HP Porsche 993 GT2. Arnold:"... with only about half of that power it was like going with a knife to a gun-battle. Let's see if Toby can go the same speed in the two races and if he can take some pressure". Therefore the second place overall is brilliant, specially on a race track with that long straights like in East London.
Sun Moodley reached a very good 8th position, driving first time a Cup Porsche, moreover first time a left hand drive racecar. In his class he reached P6.
The two sprint races will be started on Saturday, the 27th of February.
